Description

Lemon crumb bars are a delightful dessert that perfectly balances sweet and tart flavors. Ingredients

  • Granulated sugar
  • Unsalted butter
  • Fresh lemons (juice and zest)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and chilled butter until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the dish and bake for 15 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, lemon juice, zest, and flour until smooth. Pour over the baked crust.
  4. Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until set; let cool completely before slicing into squares.
