Description

This Creamy Cajun Steak Alfredo combines tender slices of perfectly seared steak with a rich, Cajun-spiced Alfredo sauce tossed with fettuccine. A comforting yet elevated meal perfect for dinner parties or indulgent weeknights!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 8 oz fettuccine or linguine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta:
Boil fettuccine in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Prepare the Steak:
Season steak with salt and pepper. Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat, 4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Rest steak under foil, then slice thinly against the grain.
  3. Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Stir in Parmesan and Cajun seasoning until smooth.
  4. Combine and Serve:
Toss pasta in the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed. Top with sliced steak and garnish with parsley. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add an additional pinch of cayenne pepper to the sauce.
  • Use fresh pasta for a more luxurious texture.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated gently.
