Instructions
- Preheat and Prep:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan. - Mash Bananas:
Mash ripe bananas until smooth but slightly chunky; set aside. - Combine Dry Ingredients:
Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. - Mix Wet Ingredients:
Cream butter and sugar until light. Beat in eggs, vanilla, and mashed bananas. - Make the Batter:
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. - Bake:
Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool completely. - Prepare Frosting:
Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. - Frost the Cake:
Spread frosting evenly over the cooled cake. Slice and serve.
