  • 2 cups fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes or a splash of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sauté Spinach and Garlic
    In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil or butter. Add minced garlic and spinach. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until spinach is wilted.
  3. Mix Ingredients
    In a large bowl, combine the sautéed spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, shrimp, and crab meat. Mix until smooth.
  4. Add Cheese and Seasonings
    Fold in shredded cheese, salt, and pepper. Add optional red pepper flakes or lemon juice for extra flavor.
  5. Bake
    Spread the mixture in a baking dish and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until bubbly. For a golden top, broil for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Serve
    Enjoy hot with crackers, bread, or vegetable sticks.

  • Substitutions: Use frozen spinach if fresh isn’t available. Thaw and drain it well before use.
