Ingredients

- Honey: 1/3 cup (80 ml)
- Bell Peppers: 1 cup (150 g), assorted colors, sliced
- Soy Sauce: 2 tbsp (30 ml), low-sodium
- Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
- Red Pepper Flakes: 1 tsp (5 g), or to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken:
- Combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour over chicken thighs in a resealable bag or dish. Marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Prep the Bell Peppers:
- Wash, deseed, and slice the bell peppers into uniform strips.
- Cook the Chicken:
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken thighs for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (165°F/75°C). Remove and keep warm.
- Make the Sauce:
- Add reserved marinade to the skillet and simmer until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Combine:
- Return chicken to the skillet, add bell peppers, and cook for 2-3 minutes until peppers are tender-crisp. Serve hot
