Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp each garlic powder, onion powder, paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • Juice of ½ lime

Instructions

Step 1: Marinate Chicken

  • Toss chicken cubes with olive oil, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt. Let marinate for 15-30 minutes.

Step 2: Prepare Skewers

  • Soak wooden skewers in water if using. Thread chicken onto skewers, about 4-5 pieces per skewer.

Step 3: Preheat Air Fryer

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.

Step 4: Cook Skewers

  • Place skewers in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don’t overlap. Cook at 400°F for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Step 5: Make Sauce & Serve

  • Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice. Drizzle over cooked skewers or serve as a dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Adjust spice levels in the sauce by increasing or reducing sriracha.
  • Ensure chicken is fully cooked by checking for an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • Serve with steamed rice, salad, or fresh veggies for a complete meal.
