Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs: 500g, diced
  • Soy sauce: 3 tbsp
  • Gochujang: 2 tbsp
  • Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
  • Ginger: 1 tbsp, grated
  • Brown sugar: 1 tbsp
  • Green onions: 2 stalks, chopped
  • Bao buns: 8 pre-made
  • Vegetable oil: 1 tbsp

Instructions

  3. Steam the Bao Buns
    • Steam pre-made bao buns in a bamboo or metal steamer lined with parchment paper for about 8 minutes until soft and fluffy.
  4. Assemble the Bao
    • Fill each steamed bao with cooked chicken. Garnish with green onions and any additional toppings like pickled vegetables or spicy mayo. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add pickled cucumbers or carrots for extra crunch and tang.
