  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup colorful sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt until combined.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time followed by the vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  6. Gently fold in half of the sprinkles. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets with space between each cookie and top with remaining sprinkles.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges but still soft in the center. Let cool on wire racks.
