  • 2 tbsp butter (softened)
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine buttermilk, vegetable oil, egg, red food coloring, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture; do not overmix.
