  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 2 tbsp milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla; mix until combined.
  4. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until just mixed; do not overmix.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them two inches apart.
  6. Bake for about 10 minutes or until edges are golden but centers are soft. Allow to cool slightly.
  7. For icing, whisk together powdered sugar and milk; drizzle over cookies before serving.
