Description

Strawberry Sorbet is a delightful and refreshing summer treat that captures the essence of ripe strawberries in a creamy, dairy-free dessert. Perfect for cooling off on hot days or impressing guests at gatherings, this easy-to-make recipe allows you to customize the sweetness and flavor to your liking.

Ingredients

Scale

4 cups fresh strawberries (or frozen)

1 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

½ cup water

Instructions

Prepare the Strawberries: Wash and hull fresh strawberries (or thaw frozen ones). Cut larger berries into halves or quarters for easier blending.

Blend: In a blender, combine strawberries with half of the sugar. Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.

Mix Remaining Ingredients: Add remaining sugar, lemon juice, and water to the blender. Blend until well combined.

Freeze: Pour the mixture into an airtight container and freeze for at least 3 hours or overnight until solid.

Serve: Allow sorbet to sit at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes before scooping.

Notes

Adjust sweetness based on the ripeness of your strawberries.

Experiment with flavor by adding herbs like mint or mixing in other fruits.
