Ingredients

– 1 lb lean ground beef

– 1 medium bell pepper (diced)

– 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans

– 2 tbsp chili seasoning mix

– 1 cup cornmeal

– 1 cup flour

– 1 cup milk

– 2 large eggs

– 1 tbsp baking powder


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with diced onion and bell pepper until browned. Drain excess fat.

2. Stir in diced tomatoes, kidney beans, and chili seasoning; simmer for about 10 minutes.

3. In a separate bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, milk, and eggs until combined.
