A delightful fusion of crispy beef, succulent shrimp, and stir-fried vegetables tossed with egg noodles in a spicy chili soy sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or when craving a flavorful Asian-inspired dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 250g beef strips (sirloin or flank, thinly sliced)
  • 200g large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 200g egg noodles
  • 2 medium bell peppers (red and green, sliced)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Beef:
Marinate beef strips with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp cornstarch, salt, and pepper for 15 minutes.
  2. Cook the Noodles:
Boil noodles until al dente (4-6 minutes). Drain, rinse with cold water, and set aside.
  3. Stir-Fry Beef:
Heat oil in a skillet, fry marinated beef in batches until crispy (about 2 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
  4. Cook Vegetables & Shrimp:
In the same skillet, sauté garlic and bell peppers for 2 minutes. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque (3 minutes).
  5. Combine and Sauce:
Return beef to the skillet. Mix soy sauce and chili sauce in a bowl and pour over the stir-fry. Toss in cooked noodles, mix well, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust chili sauce based on your spice tolerance.
  • Substitute chicken or tofu for shrimp and beef if desired.
