  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

A flavorful and quick meal combining savory ground beef, tender noodles, and a sweet-savory sauce with aromatic garlic and ginger. Perfect for a satisfying weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 8 oz egg noodles or chow mein noodles
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 medium bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

  • Prepare Ingredients: Chop vegetables, mince garlic, and grate ginger. Cook noodles per package directions until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  • Brown Beef: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown ground beef for 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart. Drain excess grease.
  • Sauté Aromatics: Lower heat, add garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant (1-2 minutes). Stir in bell pepper and half of the green onions. Cook for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
  • Combine Sauce and Noodles: Add soy sauce and sesame oil to the pan, mixing well. Toss in the noodles and stir until coated. Let simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Garnish and Serve: Top with remaining green onions and enjoy hot!

Notes

  • Substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
  • For added spice, sprinkle red chili flakes or drizzle with sriracha before serving.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
