Ingredients
- Sushi rice: 2 cups
- Fresh tuna: 8 oz, sushi-grade, diced
- Mayonnaise: 3 tbsp (Japanese preferred)
- Sriracha sauce: 1 tbsp (adjust to taste)
- Nori sheets: 4, cut into strips
Instructions
- Cook the Sushi Rice
- Rinse rice under cold water until clear, soak for 30 minutes, then cook with an equal amount of water (2 cups). Let it rest for 10 minutes after cooking.
- Prepare Spicy Tuna Filling
- Mix diced tuna with mayonnaise and sriracha. Adjust spice level to taste.
- Shape Onigiri
- Wet hands lightly, take a portion of rice, and form a triangular shape. Create a small indentation, fill with spicy tuna, and seal with more rice.
- Wrap with Nori
- Wrap a strip of nori around each onigiri for easy handling and added flavor.

- Serve with soy sauce or wasabi for an extra kick.
